About Atelier Troela
Atelier Troela was founded in 2024 by Isa Bakker in Rotterdam. What started as a carefully curated vintage clothing business has since evolved into a made-to-measure fashion label focused entirely on custom-designed pieces.
The transition happened naturally. As Isa began creating and selling more handmade garments, she discovered not only a growing demand for custom pieces, but also a deep passion for designing and making clothing from scratch. What started as a creative experiment quickly became something much more meaningful. In early 2026, she made the decision to fully dedicate Atelier Troela to bespoke fashion.
Today, Atelier Troela is all about creating clothing that fits both the body and the personality of the wearer. Every piece is made to measure and crafted with great attention to detail, ensuring a flattering fit and a truly personal experience. The brand combines comfort, individuality, and timeless design, with each garment tailored to the customer's exact measurements and preferences.
The Story Behind the Brand
Isa Bakker, born in 2002, is a 24-year-old designer from Rotterdam with a lifelong love for fashion and creativity. Although this passion was always present, it took time before she gave it a central place in her life.
Before pursuing fashion full-time, Isa studied Arabic, driven by her fascination with languages and cultures. Alongside her studies, she taught herself how to sew, with support from her mother, stepmother, and various courses. Most of her skills, however, were developed independently through experimentation, dedication, and countless hours behind the sewing machine.
